The Edmonds Lacrosse Club provides high school and youth lacrosse for girls residing in or attending Edmonds School District schools. We love this game! Teams include Edmonds-Woodway Warriors JV and U15 Edmonds Warriors

Welcome to the Edmonds Lacrosse Club!

The Edmonds Lacrosse Club is the official girls youth and high school lacrosse program serving Brier, Edmonds, Lynnwood, Martha Lake and Mountlake Terrace. For the 2020-2021 Alternate Season we welcome girls from all school districts to join.

We are members of US Lacrosse, and the Washington Schoolgirls Lacrosse Association (WSLA).

The Edmonds Lacrosse Club (ELC) will not take part in the abbreviated competitive game season that the Washington Girls Lacrosse Association (WSLA) intends to run this spring, primarily because of insufficient access to playfields. The demand for playfields is extraordinarily high for April and May because all of the school district-sponsored outdoor sports teams from fall, winter, and spring (i.e. football, boys and girls soccer, cross-country, and track) are scheduled to have overlapping seasons during those months.

Instead, the ELC is organizing a 4-week round of Alternative Lacrosse Season Options (aka ALSO) March 8-April 4 which is open to all girls grades 3 - high school regardless of where they live or go to school.

Girls who register for the ELC’s ALSO will be led by coaches each week in:

1) Online Together strategy and team-connecting sessions via Zoom on Tuesdays 7:00-8:00pm;

2) Independent Outdoor individualized challenges to build strength and skills, and earn prizes; and

3) Outdoor Together lacrosse-skill-building activities outdoors together in pods of 6, most likely on grass fields at parks (OPTIONAL) on Thursdays 5:30-7:30pm

In view of COVID-19, all outdoor activities will be club-supervised, and require health attestation and compliance with risk-mitigation protocols. Players also have the option of registering for just the Online Together and Independent Outdoor activities to further mitigate risk.

While we are all very disappointed the ELC will not be able to participate in a competitive season, ALSO will provide opportunities for players of any age to try lacrosse for the first time, for experienced players to strengthen their skills and game strategy, and for everyone to have fun together. If players who participate in the first 4-week round of ALSO want to continue, coaches are open to running a second 4-week round in April-May.

The registration fees for ALSO include coach training, insurance, some club-provided equipment (ELC-logo mask, balls, and a shooting target), and field rental (if that becomes possible)

  • U.S. Lacrosse Membership is required for all players: $30 youth/$35 high school
  • ALSO registration fee is $50 ( for every age group)
  • Partial ALSO registration for just Online Together and Independent Outdoor activities  (no in-person activities) is $25

The deadline to register for ALSO is Sunday, March 7th at midnight.

To register for ALSO, click the Register button on the left, follow the links to join/renew your player’s U.S. Lacrosse Membership, then return to the ELC registration page to complete your player’s ALSO registration. Please note that iPhones/iPads are incompatible with the registration interface.

Because the ELC will not register for WSLA’s 2021 competitive season, WSLA will permit any girl who lives in Edmonds to join the WSLA-registered lacrosse team whose primary practice field is closest to the girl’s primary residence/home this spring. If you want to find out which WSLA-registered lacrosse team/club you would be eligible to join for the 2021 season and how to contact that team/club, send an email to that includes the street address of your primary residence. ELC players may register for the ELC’s ALSO activities as well as join whichever WSLA-registered team that WSLA directs them to for the 2021 season.

For more info about ALSO, see the slides presented by the ELC board at the all-club meeting on 2/10/2021 and/or watch the video recording of that meeting.
